“Every so often, a movie comes along with performances that set the standard for a generation of actors,” said festival Chairman Harold Matzner. “`The Social Network’ combines a theme that defines our time with performances that redefine acting for the screen. `The Social Network’ is important not because it is about this current moment in history, but because the human motivations of the characters make it a parable for this or any age.”

Ok so, finished the special facebook presentation thing on tv and he invited George Bush (republicans FTW) for an interview with him and he (Mark) of course kept the facebook for his own instead of selling it or selling himself. He turned down all the offers from like Yahoo, etc and I admire him for that. For not letting outside forces intervene with his vision. Good for him. I love him now. I don’t see him as an asshole. Sure, it was fucking sad about his friend and lover Eduardo but now I understand him. It was also really cool to see the real Chris and Dustin and to have them speak. Not much on Eduardo though :/. Maybe he didn’t wanna be mentioned? The Winklevoss twins ARE ON IT! That was a mind-fuck. But Divya Narendra aka ya know the dark-skinned guy whose with the twins on this and a friend said they waited 4 years until so to join! Not much on the movie surprisingly.

If you fall in love with a book or movie, do you tend to watch/read it again and again? If so, what's your upper limit on repeats?

I have never read a book over again, I don't do that. Maybe in my later years I will but as a teenager, nah.  And I love to watch movies over again if I really enjoyed it the first time! After seeing it in theaters, I'll buy the DVD when it comes out. For movies, when it comes to limit on repeats, I'd say no more than 2 when it's in theaters. You don't want to get tired of it. But after getting the DVD, I'll watch it a lot.

If you had to go an entire week without TV, music, or your mobile phone, which would you choose, and why?

Mobile phone. I don't use it much.

After listening to Kristen talk about WTTR, I somehow have found a new kind of respect for strippers. I didn’t hate them before but now, I have a seen them in a different perspective. She said she got bruises from learning how to dance like that and that it doesn’t look painful but in reality it is. I'm so proud of her for pulling that off. Some people think that strippers are brainless sluts but really they’re strong and hard-working. I mean they get hurt from it for Christ sakes! Bruises are evil. These girls have got balls. They don’t give up. Plus they are so comfortable in their own skin and with their sexuality. I’m not. I envy them in that way.

What if at this very moment, time stood still? Your TV froze, the birds would be stopped dead in mid-air, peoples' moments were still, and the whole world just went silent.....All expect YOU. YOUR heart is still beating. YOUR body is still moving. YOU are still considered alive. What would you do? Would you panic or would you take advantage of that time and do something? Would you fool around and raid the stores of food, clothes, and technological gadgets? Get things you wished you could have but never got? Or cause an ex-bf/crush or enemy misery?

It would be interesting to hear what people would do. How about you?

Which musicians of the last two decades have had the most lasting impact on music as we know it today?

I don't know who has had the most impact on music the past two decades. I guess everyone would have their own opinion. But for me personally, I can definitely list some bands that have influenced me greatly in different ways.
